Migration of core infrastructure from 6509-E to 2 redundant Nexus 3064 T

Hi all,

We are in the process of migration from 6509E in our core infra to 2 redundant Nexus 3064 T

Existing Setup

============

1 6509E doing routing for 80 SVIs, and each interface on 6509 is either an access port for SVI or a trunk link to every rack in Data Centre and top of the rack switches are sometinmes doing routing or only access ports at layer 2.

Routing by default within SVIs is done by 6509E MLS by default with Sup-720 Supervisor Engine

New Setup

=========

Install 2 Nexus 3064T active and backup connected directly to each other using 40gig, each port on each nexus will be trunked to 2 uplinks of single 3750x 10 gig as a trunk interface

                                  Active Virtual IPs for 80SVIs

My question is what routing is preffered OSPF / EIGRP between the 2 Nexus3064T as routing needs to be wire speed ?

Shall the 2 new nexus be in Active / Standby or Active / Active Load Balancing and what Redundancy protocol to use ?
