Monitoring VLANs or ports over the WAN

Hi,

We have remote sites in different part of the world and a management platform which has Wireshark installed (but we never used it) Is there a way to monitor the remote ports over the WAN from this management platform.

Management platform is in Edmonton and remote sites are in different part of world.

If its layer 3 the only way I think is erspan and if its layer 2 remote you could do rspan
