MPLS VPN on 1801 router with 12.4.24T advipserv

After an upgrade to 12.4.24T has "ip mpls" and "address family vpnv4" disappeared from configuration. I couldn't find any documentation on CCO which explanins how to configure VPN on 1801 router with 12.4.24T advipserv.

Hello Daniel,

the feature navigator

www.cisco.com/go/fn

for 1801 adv ip services 12.4(24)T doesn'list any MPLS feature

use search by platform specify IOS 1801 and then select 12.4T the release 24

you need an upgrade to advanced enteprise to get MPLS and MPLS VPN functionality

Hi Giuseppe,

I've just testet with:

Cisco IOS Software, C180X Software (C180X-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 12.4(24)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

But under interface configuration there is no option for mpls, as did for release prior to 12.4(20).

Hello Daniel,

this is a case of missing information in feature navigator.

IF you haven't a compelling reason to stay in 12.4(24)T you may consider a downgrade to a version supporting MPLS and MPLS VPN.

At the same time you can open a TAC service request to signal the lack of functionality in advanced enterprise image 12.4(24)T.
