Here is an interesting scenario:
I have a set of IPTV multicast sources on an SVI (172.28.40.0/24), and due to some future planning I am looking to move those into another address range (10.2.13.0/24). I also have an unused ISR 3945 which connects to both of these networks.
What I would like to do is configure NAT between these networks so I can move from an IGMP join (S,G: 172.28.40.11, 239.28.40.15) to the new target range (S,G: 10.2.13.11, 239.28.40.15).
I have read the following: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/ipaddr_nat/configuration/xe-16/nat-xe-16-book/iadnat-multicast-dynamic.html, but I need to use SSM.
I have tried placing 10.2.13.0/24 as ip nat outside, and 172.28.40.0/24 as ip nat inside and done some static translations. These seem to work for unicast traffic. My suspicion is that this is not a supported scenario, but I figured I would ask the group.
