Recently I faced a weird issue with Multicast data, I have one server in POP A that transmits multicast data and the receivers are located in different POPs. Suddenly, the multicast data wasn't populated outside of POP A (only the receiver in the same POP was receiving data).
I tried many things trying to resolve the issue: clear ip route on the edge router, and rebooting the sourcing server but not better.
The issue was resolved by changing the multicast source IP ( for the server transmitting data) and since then multicast traffic starts to flood again. I wasn't unable to identify any issue at the network level, are you able to help with this pleasE?
