Hi All,
We have 7206VXR router, having IOS version 12.2 with 8 serial interfaces. Out of these 8 interfaces 2 interface we kept in shutdown status and remaining 6 interfaces are connecting to our client at australia through E1 channels. At the counterpart also we have same router with same version of IOS.
We have bundled these six links into one Multilink. From few days we are facing the problem with multilink, whenever there is any link flap (Out of 6 E1 links) entire multilink goes down and we need to "shut" and "no shut" multilink interface and after that it works fine. and next time whenever link flap occurs we face the same problem.
We have cross checked the config of router (of AUS) and cann't see anything wrong with the config.
and one more thing to add that it not necessory that a particular link flaps it could be any of the 6 links 'cause of which we cann't even remove the link from the bundle.
Can you people suggest what could be the problem and help on this.
Awaiting your feedback....
Thanks....

Your problem is so similar to ours which had been solved by TAC assistance. This is an IOS bug and described in CSCdt64681. So that, TAC recommended us to upgrade or downgrade our IOS. Please check Bug tool in order to find relevant IOS release which relates to your level. If possible, requesting a TAC assistance would be muchly helpful.
