Hello,

I have a 10 Mbit line with one of my customers. The problem is that he can only

use the half of the bandwidth. I'm using

Multilink PPP to join the five 2 Mbit (1984) E1s. What can be te problem?

Here is the show commands from my side:

Bundle up for 2w4d

Hi,

Forst of all:

Thanks for your hints!

Here are the interface pairs:

customer_side: my_side:

Se0/1, -----------> se1/1:1

Se1/0, -----------> se2/1:1

Se1/1, -----------> se5/0:1

Se1/2, -----------> se5/1:1

Se1/3, -----------> se6/0:1

customer equipment: c3660: IOS Version 12.2(34) is-mz

my equipment: c3725-I-M IOS Version 12.3(13b) i-mz

What do you think how to rearrange to pair

them correctly?

Thanks,

Andras

Thanks and will wait for the result. According to the Mike's post and the capture result. It shown there are lots of recordered packet. I believe Mike's proposed link can help. But I am sorry that I can't access the link, so I can comment on it too much.

Please try to check the cable in both sites to ensure it is connected as same order then it may solve the problem.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

this ordering problem is very strange.

it seems that every time when I issue

the sh ppp multilink int multi 2 command

the interfaces order are different.

Can you provide those different order screen captures ? Did you try to reorder the connection physically ? i.e. local first port connects to remote first port,...

Hi,

I reordered the links but with no success.

Everything is the same. The customer can use

only the half of the bandwidth. I still have

a huge numbers of reordered packages. Any other idea?

We tested that only one link is alive in the

Multilink bundle and we were able to use the

whole 2 Mbit. Very strange.

Thanks,

Andras

Can you advise the links which cannot achieve 2Mbps is MLPPP enabled or disabled MLPPP ?

If it is the first case, can you try to disable the MLPPP in each link and test again. I could like to isolate the MLPPP issue first. If the link w/ HDLC or PPP cannot achieve 2Mbps, then it may the problem of the link or the router hardware.

If this the second case, can you advise is there any special combination of the link between two routers that cannot achieve 2Mnps ? e.g the specific module or port at one side cannot made 2Mbps even connect to any port at remote side.

However, please backup the config. and record down the change of the config. during the test. I think it will be a complicated test w/ different ports. It is easily to mix up the connection. Take care.

Could you please also provide the module information of both routers ?

Thanks.
