Need Help - NAT Configuration

I have an inside network separated from the outside network by one router; I configured NAT to translate inside addresses to the outside, however when configuration was completed, I couldn't ping the from the inside to the outside. As an example, I used the following format in my configuration:
>ip nat inside source list 7 pool no-overload
>ip nat pool no-overload 2.2.2.1 2.2.2.6 prefix 29
>access-list 7 permit 192.168.1.16 0.0.0.15
The inside and outside interfaces were configured correctly, and a default route was created to the outside network. Is there anything else I am missing?
Please help.

What are you trying to ping ?
have you blocked ICMP traffic or rather have you given it access ?
