I've got a 2911 router connected to Verizon FiOS. I know about the "show ip nat trans" command to see what IPs i'm talking to on the outside. BUT: is there any Cisco-equiv command of the DOS "netstat" command? I want to be able to see the TCP port-numbers that are in use, in talking to the outside world. It would also be nice to know if the connection is established, or sitting at SYN_SENT state. I do appreciate that I might NOT be able to see this info, since the router is not terminating & re-originating any TCP traffic; it's just performing NAT. I'm just interested in the TCP nitty-gritty of what the router is doing. If the connection is not established, it won't show up under "show ip nat trans". That's what I'm interested in troubleshooting.
Why? My daughter's cellphone is trying to play an online game. It works fine on 4G data, but not at all on FiOS via WiFi. NOTE: Phone works fine, connects to everything under the sun just fine, except for this one game. Differences between the 4G method, and FiOS method: different originating IP, and different DNS, and obvious different network path thru the Internet.
