I need a device that can act as an LAC and is able to do VPDN and PPPOE. Currently I am using ISR1905, but now we need to expand as 1905 cannot do much as a PPPOE server. I searched google and everywhere I found that ASR1K should be fine. But that's out of my budget right now and would be an overkill for running about 1000 sessions.
Please suggest a router for the above needs which can do VPDN and about 1k PPPOE sessions.
