Netflow support on ME3600X ME3800X ?

Hello,

Do you know if the following Cisco switches ME3600X ME3800X support Netflow?

I need to collect data on interfaces and export it to an external Netflow collector installed on a server.

In other word, I need to be sure that those switches support the following command (or similar):

ip flow-export destination <IP>
ip flow-export source <Interface>
ip flow-export version 5
ip flow-cache timeout active 1
ip flow-cache timeout inactive 15
snmp-server ifindex persist
!

interface Lan interface

   ip route-cache flow

!

interface LAN interface with ip

   ip route-cache flow

!

I have spent some time to search on Cisco website but I didn't get a valid answer.

Hi,

ME3600X does not support Netflow and WCCP in the current release.
The following switch platforms support NetFlow Version 9 Data Export :

Cisco 2600 series
Cisco 3600 series
Cisco 7100 series
Cisco 7200 series
Cisco 7300 series
Cisco 7400 series
Cisco 7500 series
Cisco 12000 series

NetFlow export is also supported on other Cisco switches when using a NetFlow Feature Card (NFFC) or NFFC II and the Route Switch Module (RSM), or Route Switch Feature Card (RSFC). However, check whether version 5 is supported, as most switches export version 7 by default.

also there is no plan to add netflow support on this moment in time on me3600/3800x switches.

Hi,

when i use "?" to show the commands on ME3600 ios 15.1(2).EY1a , i can see the commands are there (flow-export, flow-capture, version 1/5/9, flow-top-talkers, and other standard netflow commands). But i cannot enter and try these commands, because the switch is the property of my client.

i've also tried this on ME3750 ios c3750me-i5k91-mz.122-55.SE, and the basic command, "ip flow-export" is there. Means that it is enough to run simple netflow.

does it mean that ME3600 and ME3750 has support netflow? Because Cisco Feature Navigator doesnt tell any of those ios' support netflow. Even netflow is not supported at all on ME3750.

please advise.
