Nexus 9k interface SVI SNMP monitoring

Dear all,

I'm trying to monitor the traffic on the SVIs of a couple of Nexus 9504 and a couple of 9372.

The problem i've found is that the InOctets/InUcastPkts counters are not being increased for the SVI interfaces:

I've tested also the using SNMPv1 as described by the bug CSCuu69510.

For all the systems we have the NXOS version 7.0(3)I2(2a)

Anyone already encounter the same problem? Do you have any solution or workaround?

Many thanks,

Mirko

A bit late reply but what I discovered was that they don't log SVI statistics right out of the box and you need to shift TCAM resources around to do that. We had this problem with our 9500s and our 9300s.

Hello,

Can you please detail how you adjusted the settings.

1: What did you set the SVI resources to?

2: What resource did you reduce, and by how much.

Thank you

Cheers.
