Hi All,
I'm configuring a network to run with a dual hub dual cloud DMVPN solution. I am running OSPF over the two clouds.
While doing some resiliency testing I noticed that if the physical interface of one of the hubs connecting it to the WAN is shutdown or unplugged, the tunnels do not come back up when the interface does.
I have tried debugging NHRP and received the message:
NHRP not enabled - ignoring swif coming up event
EDIT: Forgot to mention, if I do a shut/no shut on the tunnel interface on the spoke router, the tunnel comes up again.
I haven't been able to find any references to that particular debug message in my searches. Do any of you have any experience of this? Would be much obliged for your input, I'm pulling out what little hair I have left over something that should be relatively simple!

What model router is the hub, and what version software are you using on it?

Hi, apologies for the delayed reply, been out of the office.
They are ASR 1002-X routers running 15.4(3)S4 adventerprise.
Thanks.

I notice there is one maintenance release after that you are using (that contains resolved bugs). Could you upgrade to 3.13.5S?

Hi,
Just pushed out the newer version and still no joy, when the router booted neither tunnel came up unfortunately.
Thanks for the help though.
