NVRAM Error...

Hi,

I'm Getting Error in router from NVRAM while accessing below command in privilge 6 login.

RT01#show startup-config

Using 7328 out of 262136 bytes

%Error opening nvram:/startup-config (Permission denied)

RT01#

The error not observed while executing the command through privilege 6 login.

Plese help on this.

The error itself seems fairly straightforward - the person attempting to execute the command does not have sufficient permissions to execute that command.

I find your description of the problem to be confusing. At the beginning you say " I'm Getting Error in router from NVRAM while accessing below command in privilge 6 login" and later you say "The error not observed while executing the command through privilege 6 login". The second statement contradicts the first. Can you provide clarification?

when giving this command show startup-config from privilge 6 login I was getting this error.

RT01#show startup-config

Using 7328 out of 262136 bytes

and in router i was allowed the access of this show startup-config command in privilge 6 login.

command is

privileage exec level 6 show startup-config

But still I am getting the Error message Permission denied.

please let me know if you want more details on this.
