OSPF command query

I read from the book that

"sh ip ospf [process id] database network" display the network link-state information.

Any idea how to read and why we need to issue this command instead of the normal "show ip ospf interface" or "show ip ospf database"? Thanks

Secondly, any idea why are the ip of Attached router not connected to the router itself? What is the actual meaning of that?

The sh ip ospf database command displays sumamry of all the LSA types on the router

sh ip ospf database network will give you detail information of the network LSA.

2. Network LSAs are sent by the DR in a multiaccess network like ethernet. the attached router indicates the router IDs of the ospf neighbors on that segment
