OSPF state down but neighbor Pingable

Hi All,

         I have a strange problem on our network with a router 7200 series having a P-2-P interfaces to other locations.

The interfaces went down and come back up but OPSF show state down, while sh ip int brief shows interfaces up.

Debug ip ospf show exchanging hellos but sh ip ospf int XX, indicated that no ospf traffic is passing through.

Will appreciate an urgent help to this regard.

port the show run int xx and show int xx from both ends.

Please furnish with configuration of OSPF and sho ip int ospf output for further diagnosis.

xx means the interfaces that are directly connected b/w the devices on which you are running ospf.

for example

R1F0/0--------F0/0R2

show run int f0/0 (from R1 and R2)

show int f0/0 (from R1 and R2)
