OSPF

Hi,

Could you please suggest me how to migrate ospf Network from old DC to New DC

can i interconnect both switches(Red Line), if do like this will it cause any looping?

and also will affect traffic flow from APP servers ,I have to redirect the 192.168.10.x traffic  through

.18/30 link (red line)

Since this is Layer 2 P2P Link i do not see any Loops here.

You want to control based approach, you need to anounce same network using different metric, so  your core route learn both route and prefer OLD DC as it was working, when you remove anouncement from OLD DC network, new path automatically should be consider as best path.

other approach, anounce in new DC and remove from OLD DC (small blip expected)

Thanks for your advice

Migration plan

1)co-exist 192.168.10.x through L2 link(retain)

2) 192.168.20.x retain at old DC , then after 6month this network   will Decom

3) since we decom the core switch, need to redirect 10.x and 20.x through new DC.

Pls suggest me if require any  more changes to be done.

Not that i am aware, make sure new subnet will be reached all over and any NAT requirement for going out to internet or inocoming port-forward to be taken care here.(where required)
