OTV between 2 ASR 1000s

Hi guys,

Quick question regarding OTV between 2 ASR routers.  I am trying to help a customer with OTV between their main Datacenter and one of their remote sites.  The issue appears to be at the remote site.

They are trying to use the ASR to run OTV, however the ASR is connected to a Layer 2 switch that is connected to router that is doing all the inter-vlan routing for that location (Router on a Stick).  Is it possible to run OTV in this design?

Any thoughts are very welcome and will award points for helpful answers :-)

Hi Steven,

Can you please give a basic topology overview of this? I was thinking on the lines of making the ASR itself address all the inter-VLAN routing on that site as well. But, if I get a better understanding of the topology, I believe it will be feasible even with the setup they currently have.
