Is this feature, to extend Layer 2, only supported on Nexus 7000? In fact I need to know in particular if this can be implemented on Cisco 3750 switch and/or ASR1002 router?
I appreciate in advance for your help with this.

Only supported with Nexus at the moment.
For the ASR1k, you can implement Layer2VPNs with EoMPLS or L2TPv3.
With the 3750 switches, you can only implement 802.1q tunneling and the backbone must run Layer2.
