Hi,

A question for the elderly here ,

Is it still possible to download PDLM files from the Cisco website?

Every link I find doesn't work.

I want to download and edit in favor of apps that NBAR does not recognize.

Don't know if it is  supported on new operating systems IOS XE 16 and newer

I've first hand experience updating NBAR with PDLMs, but no experience updating NBAR in the IOS-XE releases.

However, reading the documentation, NBAR(2) updates now appear to be done via a "Protocol Pack", which appears might be applied manually or via an "Auto Update" feature.  The "Protocol Pack" may also require an advanced feature license.

You might start with:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/qos_nbar/prot_lib/config_library/nbar-prot-pack-library.html

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/qos_nbar/configuration/xe-16-9/qos-nbar-xe-16-9-book/nbar-prot-pack.html

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/qos_nbar/configuration/xe-16-6/qos-nbar-xe-16-6-book/nbar-pp-auto-upd.html

Using forgoing as entry points, likely you can find whatever additional information you need on Cisco's main site.
