we have a cat 8000v on all cloud hyperscalers. how can we especially troubleshoot cpu performance of the device? license throughput is far enough, but the forwarding of the packets seems to be limited.
but how can we get to the bottom here? there is no CPU metric anywhere that shows 100% usage. mainly i am talking about AWS, but in general it would be interesting for any cloud provider.
br + thx

First thing I check is whether the computer provided for the v8000 is correct, not shared?
In most cloud or virtual environments, these resources are shared, which causes these performance issues.
And you have the proper License for throughput?
Show platform software system all
show drops - can give you some indication of the problem.
I had some issues in the Lab after the resource fixed them, and it now performs better. (cpu and ram)
Also, in a virtual environment, the Ethernet is shared between all hosted VMs.
