PMTUD

I am troubleshooter in TAC, mostly I got worried when I face issue of latency, packet drop and slowness to application.

apart from every step I usually get stuck in PMTUD. I have tried to extract the concept of PMTUD with mss and packet many times but I failed.

Can any one help me to share some advise and documents from I can understand how this(MTU/MSS) stuff manipulates with network/application behavior.
