Hello

ISP provided Internet link over a Wimax Device. The switchport on which the wimax is terminated keeps changing from Orange to Green.

Initially we kept speed and duplex auto but no luck then we changed as per wimax team informed to speed 10 duplex full but still the same issue

config on port

interface GigabitEthernet0/48

description WIMAX_IN_881

switchport access vlan 5

switchport mode access

speed 10

duplex full

kindly input to overcome this

speed auto

duplex auto/Full

Thanks for replying, if you see the original post I already mentioned testing speed auto / duplex auto didnt help

troubleshooting also included duplex full but no luck

Not sure what more to look out

Have you try with speed auto, duplex full?

if still not working then call to your ISP provider and tell them to open the port from there side.

What you mean by open the port from ISP end.

WIMAX device is installed on the Top of the building and a UTP cable is drop to the datacenter.

1. check UTP cable., if its ok then contact ISP.

Means check the setting of device from ISP end.

They only can resolve the issue.
