ppoe over atm

hello i just take ICSW training, does anybody will explain how ppoe frame travel over atm according to OSI LAYER (it's encapsulation or datalink layer form end to end...) :) this situasion lead me to confusion as it means there exist pppoe over atm, pppoa over atm, pppoe over dsl... and please help me in technical detail according to OSI layer speaking... thanks very much...

Sorry, no much detail, but here is your answer: PPPoEoA is actually bridged ethernet over ATM conforming to 'multiprotocol over atm' rfc. Inside the ethernet packet, in turn, there is PPP.

Much overhead to do something that could be simpler, but some ISP like that way.
