Public IP on Subinterface

I have a Branch Router that I'm trying to build two tunnels to our HUB site that has MPLS and INET connections.  My question is on the Branch Router, would I need to create two WAN subinterfaces for each tunnel and if so is dot1q required since it is a public interface?

If we knew more about your environment and your requirements we would be able to provide better answers. Based on the very little information we have I offer this response. You talk about building two tunnels for your branch router. In general two tunnels should be able to be based on a single physical interface. So probably no need for sub interfaces or for dot1q. What kind of tunnels are these? What do they connect to?
