hi all,

i am monitoring a network and i have a querry for what i need a solution. i want to know that how do i make sure that bandwidth utilization on gigabit port of my cisco 7206 is overutilized or underutilized.

Hi Nitin,

You have to consistently monitor the bandwidth utilization of the interface and see how much traffic it is processing. You have to set the parameter or business requirement that will underline the question of overutilization or underutilization. Every network is different and every business requirement is also diff to say that what would be over/under utilization in your scenario.

You can also use some tools to monitor the bandwidth utilization of the router interface like
