Someone asked me what does protocol field 0 indicates in IP header?? It's confusing since protocol field only indicates upper layer protocol and 0 is used for IP Right??

I see that the lower ASR100x-X routers are already EOL. For the ASR1006-X and ASR1009-X there are no EOL dates out. Does anybody have any information on the expected lifespan of these components?
