Quick Question about PIX

Hello All:

I have no experience on PIX firewalls and am considering buying an older one on Ebay to work/train on and use in a lab environment. Can someone point to a model number that would be worth looking into? Someone suggested a PIX 515E?

Any advice would be appreciated.

PIX 515E would be a good choice. Don't go for a Pix 501 or 506E as they cannot run anything later than version 6.x code.

If you want to run 7.x on a Pix you will need 128Mb of memory in it. You could always buy a PIx515E running 6.3 code and then add memory later.
