Regarding Policy map in 6500 series

  Hi Cisco Representatives,

Example :  police cir <30000000> bc <51250> be <51250>

                    conform-action <transmit /drop>
                    exceed-action <transmit /drop>
                    violate-action <transmit/drop>

Please find the above example,

I wanted to know and understand  in detail what will be the impact on packets if the above policy map is applied in 6500 serires switch in its control plane?

The mentioned parameters are just for an example.....
