Hi

Please send the result of "Show controller" ,

have you changed the framing ?

change the framing to crc4 and no-crc4 look what will happen ?

Thanks.

hi ,

i was tried both framing ie crc4 and no-crc4.

In both condition it is no working.

here iam sending sh controler log

E1 5/0/2 is down.

Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

Transmitter is sending remote alarm.

Receiver is getting AIS.

alarm-trigger is not set

Framing is NO-CRC4, Line Code is HDB3, Clock Source is Line.

Can you provide the show controller of interface 6/0/1 ?

Can you ask the PTT to carry a Loopback test at the CSU/DSU ?

Hope this helps.

hi,

This 6/0/1 E1 card is not used for isdn and it is for 2MB leased line terminated without CSU/DSU devices.leased line are terminated with fiber optic cable termination.

and here iam enclosing 6/0/1 sh controller status..

E1 6/0/1 is up.

Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

No alarms detected.

alarm-trigger is not set

The reason I ask for the screen capture of s 6/0/1 due to the original question and error are on s6/0/1....

There are many line code violations, try to check w/ PPT for the correct line code or try other types to test again.

Check below for more info.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk713/tk628/technologies_tech_note09186a00800f99bb.shtml

Moreover, if it is a leased line, should the channelized interface able to support it ? Do you have a 2Mbps serial interface to test it.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

First of all Would like to know the exact interface you are facing problem with as you have provided different interfaces

6/0/1:0 & 5/0/2.

I would agree with jackyoung and would suggest you to test the link on 2Mbps serial interface. Also would suggest to check the connections as any loose connections can also lead to CRC.

hi,

e1 controler 6/0/1:0 is configured for 2MB leased line without CSU/DSU devices ie with OFC termination.which is having lot of input error,CRC errors and low reliablity.

e1 controler 5/0/2 is configured for ISDN with framing no-crc4.whichis regularly fluctuation.and whose reliablity low and ,input errors and CRC error are very high.

for resloving this issue we have changed the Multi-chennal e1 card completely .but still the problem has not solved.

and their is no loose contact yet all..

so please help me in this regard..

sravan kumar

hi all,

here iam enclosing all detail in attachment file..

sravan kumar

According to the capture of s 5/0/2, there are many path code violations. Please confirm w/ PTT that the framing is correct (i.e. s 5/0/3 is using no-crc4 but s6/0/1 is using unframed). However, at s 6/0/1, it is opposite that there are many line cost violations, so please also confirm the linecode is correct and check w/ PTT for the physical line status.

Please refer to the link that provided before, it includes all symptoms from your screen capture.

If you do not clear these errors first, we can't continue the troubleshoot.

As I suggested before, if s 6/0/1 is connecting to leased line, try to use a non-multichannel serial interface (e.g. PA-8T) to test the connection and check w/ the PTT to ensure the circuit can work w/ MC interface.

Please also advise the exact model of the PA that you are using.

Hope this helps.
