Hi Guys,

Im trying to access my home lab remotly using telnet. My current topoloy is as such;

---->DLSModem --- LinksysRouter ---- InsideNetwork

My inside global address is say 81.7.164.245

My inside local address for the router is say 192.168.1.5 and is in a DMZ.

I have UPnP Forwarding TCP port 23 -> 23

I can ping 81.7.164.245 remotly.

I can telnet into 81.7.164.245 from my local laptop (192.168.1.6).

But I cant telnet remotly??? Any ideas what I need to do?

* check if there are any acl's blocking the telnet session

* check if you have the following translation for allowing telnet access :

#ip nat inside source static tcp *.*.*.* <1-65535>

(Where *.*.*.* is the internal address the ports are to be forwarded
