Router 2800 Series don't boot on rommon mode

Hi. My 2800 series router don't boot now on rommon mode.

I always do that to show to the students how to do to reset the startup-config.

The first time this happend to me.

No answer to ctrl-brake or any key, and appears "differents blocks"  (picture) to decompression blocks.

Green led is always blinking.

Change cable and PC, and the same thing.P1.jpg

Any idea??

Thank you

Not that i come across, do you have IP SSH access, check any baud rate changed?  Try a different baud rates.

Maybe someone changed config reg?

Since you tried the new cable (please also confirm the same cable works on different devices?) , i would suggest the below link to remove flash and boot what you get. ?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Yes, the cable works on others devices.

I going to open the case and check DRAM and FLASH, and try differents baud rates.

Thank you! I'll check that and post results.

I opened the case and everything is ok.

I tried with differents baud rates and the same thing.

1.  Someone has changed the baud rates;

2.  What happens if the CF is ejected and let the router boot up?

I tried with differents baud rates and the same thing.

With the CF ejected is the same thing.

I tried with differents baud rates and the same thing.

With the CF ejected is the same thing.
One detail is, after 20 minutes, the green led no blink anymore, and is solid. But the console is like the picture above, and, if I press ctrl+break, the green led beguins blink again.

Try a different computer.

I tried. Different computer and different cable, and the same thing.

And tried another router with this computer and cable and its works...

Well. I taked an equal router and conect with one cable to a pc, and working ok, disconnected and connect the other and the same thing. So, the cable and de computer is not the problem.

Taked out the cover and interchange the memories/flash and the new works ok with my memory/flash cards, and the other the same thing with the other memory/flash card. So, the memory/flash are not the problem.

I'm thingking about the RJ45 female in the router. I'll clean it and do a new test.
