router id nexus and bgp

Hi team,

Need some help with some info, unfortunately, I dont have a lab to test Nexus OS, I just have done it with regular IOS, 

the current set up is with eBGP with GCP, however, by the time it was implemented it was not added a loopback because it was just a regular eBGP, and the current router id is the existing IP of the ethernet 1/40

however, now, we want to iBGP with an  internal router and we need to create a loopback in nexus, 

if by the time I add a new loopback to make iBGP peering with the router, will that bring the current eBGP session? 

please check the diagram attached and let me know if you have any questions, 

The reason Im asking is because I dont want to bring down the existing bgp wanting to get the new IP of the loopback as a router iD

any feedback?

Hi, 

So I tested in the real environment, under a control window, fortunately, 

However, as soon as I put the loopback, it did reset the peer automatically , without forcing it as Ive known
