router model suggestion

hello,

I am looking to purchase 2 routers for our data center.

These 2 routers will be the edge between our Colo/ISP and our Network.

I need to run BGP(just listening for 0.0.0.0/0 route) and High Availability. (should I use VRRP, HSRP, other?)

The circuits are, 2 10MB/100MB burstable ethernet circuits on wan side.

(want to run in active/active)

LAN side is all 1Gb.

What would be the most appropriate model router to purchase for this project?

Cheap is plus, but I'd like to be able to handle 100Mb line rate.

No additional services are required. All firewalls will be on the LAN side of these router.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Also, I'd imagine this is a pretty everyday configuration, (wan circuits will vary) any best practice/cookbook examples?

this might help with choosing the routers:

and

for proper active/active from LAN to these two routers, i'd go with GLBP ... unless you have multiple HSRP groups (which implies different default gateways) then HSRP will result in one router recieving all the traffic at any one time.

VRRP is the same as HSRP but non-proprietry
