Hi there,
I have a 1760 where I can not configure.
When the router initiates I see the following message:
device does not contain a valid magic number
Does anyone knows what is that?
Thanks,
Fernanda

Fernanda,
That error message indicates the flash does not hold a valid IOS - either corrupt or missing image. Copy a valid image to the flash using the instructions below, if you aren't already familiar with the procedure.

Hi Fernanda
In addition to Sundar's comments you need to format your flash before copying up the new ios code onto your flash system..
