HI,

Are you using a wireless controller or are the access points autonomous?

Thanks

John

Hi @johnd2310

I am using wireless controller

Thanks

Hi,

If you are using a wireless controller, all the access points register to the controller and all traffic from the access point is tunneled back to the controller. If the user vlans/networks are defined on the controller, then all user traffic leaves the network at the controller and the users can roam because the users network is  on the controller(s).

The tunneling nature of controller based wireless networks allows users to roam even though your network has a routed access.

Hope this helps

Thanks

John
