Routing issue

Mohd Nasir

I have a field network there are core ring with 4 nos. XR router and configured in unicast environment. There is running iBGP with L3 vpn. 2 routers in Data centre and a main server in data centre. eBGP is configured between field routers and Data centre routers.

There is another server where we have to simultaneously forward the feed from R3.

What configuration i have to do between R3 and R7 so that traffic to be forwarded simultaneously to main and DR server. without high bandwidth utilization.

Hello
You could dynamically advertise  a default route to R7  from R3 and at the same time R7 can advertise its local routes to R3

Or as you say append a default route manually on R7 towards R3 and append a summary route on R3 towards R7 for its local routes and then advertise that summary into the field network
