I have a RV345 router and trying to set up port forwarding to connect to a security system NVR.
I have created a service named: Dahau Name1, Protocol: TCP, Port Start:80, Port End:80
Now in the port forwarding in the firewall setting I have created the following.
External Service: Dahau Name 1, Internal Service: Dahau Name 1, IP Address: 192.168.1.254, Interface: WAN1
Is the correct setup? I am confused about the external service vs. the internal service. What is the difference?

Thanks for the fast reply. I am using 3 ports 80, 37777, and 37778. I have 3 entries in the services table and port forwarding. I am just confused on the external service name. Is it always supposed to be the same as internal service name?

i suggest having names like HTTP to HTTP, other unknown ports make your own custom name. you can check the logs if any failures.
