We have configured two Cisco SCE8000 in load balancing for modem MAC authentication in our ISP network
Since yesterday, SCE devices has started a abnormal behaviour in authentication. It is authenticating same modem mac on both SCE device. In general scenerio, once modem is authenticated on any, it should not be a authenticated/or have session on other SCE device.
In detail, when modem powered on, SCE1 authenticates it and browsing gets started on system. But after few minutes, 5-10 minutes, same modem gets session on SCE2 too.
On SCE, modem is showing sessions on both SCE devices.
Here the logs of SCE1 & SCE2 showing same modem in green text.
SCE8000-1#sh int LineCard 0 subscriber all-names 14:82:xxxx:fc:c7
SCE8000-2#sh int LineCard 0 subscriber all-names 14:82:xxxx:fc:c7
There has not any change made in network or SCE configuration.
Please suggest the possible root cause and resolution of this issue.
