Hi everyone,
I’d like to set up an mDNS gateway on my Cisco C9300-A, filtering by instance name.
Suppose I have three different networks, X, Y, and Z, where VLAN X is a service VLAN.
I’d like VLANs Y and Z to be able to see only certain services available in VLAN X, and I’d like to achieve this by creating filters based on the instance name.
I’m able to achieve this using the command service-routing mdns-sd, but the latest release notes clearly state that “this command is going to be deprecated, use mdns-sd gateway instead”.
With the new command, however, I’m unable to filter by instance name.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to do this?
If not, could this feature be implemented in future updates?
And how long will the service-routing mdns-sd command continue to work?
