Hi,
I have a Cisco 881 router with IOS 12.4(20)T3 and I can access router with no problem using CCP. Also the router surf internet with no problem. On my local network I have an Ubuntu server wich can be accessed locally with the IP 1.1.100.241. On the router NAT configuration I have opened port 22 (SSH) both in/out to give access to our manteinance staff. I can access locally this server using SSH but if I try to access remotely the Ubuntu server by SSH a notice msg apperars and after write my username / password I receive the msg Access denied. I suspect that when accessing server from outside the router is doing something to impide SSH access to my web server.
Pls help me with this. How can I access my web server by SSH remotely; any special configuration is required for the 881 to do so?

Hi Enrico,
Maybe your router answer to ssh connection when you tried remote connection. Can you try configuration below and you can try ssh connection with port 2222.
ip nat inside source static tcp 1.1.100.241 22 interface Serial0 2222
