SFP+ for 20km

Hi,

Im helping a customer to respond to a tender.

There are four switches in the the request and the optics are added separately so its hard to say where the optics should go.

Nonetheless, the optics should be for 20km distance with specifics to the communication rate.

If I look into the TMG tool, Cisco does not support 20km. Customers need to purchase 10km och 40km, correct?

Only way to solve the specific distance request of 20km is 3rd party?

Hi there,

Choosing a pair SFP+ optics with a maximum range of 40km will not cause any problems with the fibre run is only 20km.
