thanks for reply !!!!!
here is the answer :
- Is it going to work full or half rate ? the default throughput value is 10GE, any workaround about it ?
They both can’t work at full rate at same time as below reason.
The SIP-600 [10G SIP], SIP-401 [2.5G SIP], SIP-501 [5G SIP], and SIP-601 [10G SIP] can support up to 20G of installed SPAs, but the bandwidth through the engine and the fabric is no more than 10G (SIP-600 or SIP-601). The bandwidth through the engine and the fabric is no more than 5G for the SIP-501 and is no more than 2.5G for the SIP-401.
- Is there any way that SIP601 can forward packet without going through fabric ( internal forwarding without pass through control plane ) ?
No, and forwarding traffic must go through fabric. Only control/management traffic would be handled by control plane.
- There is a possibility to upgrade IOS-XR with a specific licence to enable 20GE throughput ?
No, this is determined by HW capability.
The Cisco XR 12000 SIP-601 operates at 10 Gbps throughput by default and does not require any additional configuration or license
