Hello there. I have two E1 links bundled in to multi-link. I'm facing slip errors on me E1 controller. It means I have problem with synchronization. There is my controllers configuration. Tell me please where I'm wrong.
Side A
controller E1 0/3/0
clock source line primary
channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31
!
controller E1 0/3/1
channel-group 0 timeslots 1-16
Side B
controller E1 0/1/0
clock source line primary
channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31
!
controller E1 0/1/1
channel-group 0 timeslots 1-16
Sincerely,
GRinch

HI
which controller do you see the slips? 0/1/0 or 0/1/1?
Slips are related to colcking issues.
configure controller 0/1/1 as clock sourn internal.
Since the 0/1/0 is the primary clock souce the 0/1/1 will be able to get the clocking form that and sync.

Thanks for reply,
I have slips on both controllers. I receive synchronization from my ISP so controller sould have clock soure line. I also found an information that clock soure line independent helps in this situation but U have do deletet channel-group before use this command. It's ok on local site but pretty difficult on remote because nobody who can configure cisco router there.

Hi
You must have a v2 card, that does support clock source independent but like you said you have to you have to delete the channel-group and add it back
Since the provider is giving you clock specify the below command on the router.
Global config
network-clock-participate wic 0
network-clock-select 1 e1 0/3/0
network-clock-select 2 e1 0/3/1
This will make one of the e1 primary clock source.
See if this stops the slips on the interface.

I do have a card you R talking about. I'll try configuration U provide next week and let you if it helps.
