"We have problems with SM-X-ES3-16-P= on router ISR4331-DC/K9.
The SM-X-ES3-16-P= the card attempts to boot but fails.
The IOS of the SM-X-ES3-16-P= is Version 15.0(2r)EJ and the ios of ISR is Version 16.9.1.
can you tell me if there is a compatibility problem with the releases?"

SM-X-ES3-16-P is only supported on the 4451-X.
But customer mentioned that they have another ISR 4331 with installated and worked the module SM-X-ES3-16-P=
Request for comments. Is their any version specific as mentioned in this discussion fourm
