Hi,

Iam configuring new ISR4451 router along with SM-X-ES3-16-P service module in CCW. I believe SM-X-ES3-16-P comes with LAN base image which can support static routing. For Layer 3 functionality (RIP etc) , I need to purchase minimum IP Base license, when I try to add this license L-C3560X-LIC=  in CCW, it show it is end of sle in 30 Oct 2016 and also not able to find IP Base lciense for 16 Port service module.Only 24 and 48 port license showing in CCW.

Please suggest how can I add IP base license in SM-X-ES3-16-P as I need RIP feature.

Thanks & Regards

Navneet

Hello,

as I understand it, you can still use the software, but there is no support or maintenance or any sort of warranty.

Hello,

as far as I recall, the SM-X-ES3-16-P comes with a right to use license, which means you can upgrade by entering the command:

license right-to-use activate license-level

It is assumed that you have purchased the license before you upgrade (that is the nature of the Right to Use agreement).

I have not purchase the IP base License , need to purchase it but it is showing End o f sale, pls suggest which part code I need to consider for IP base license.

Thanks

Hello,

part number is C3560X-16-L-S (SM-X-ES3-16-P LAN Base to IP Base Paper License).

But in CCW it is showing End of Sale in 30oct 2016.

Please refer attachment.

Thanks

Thanks for the information.

I hope LAN Base image support static routing for inter VLAN communication. pls confirm

Hello,

you need IP Base for inter VLAN routing, LAN Base (the default, which you have installed) does not support Layer 3 switching (routing).
