Smart Serial and DB60

Dear Experts,

On our earlier router we have 4 smart serials and all the links which are configured as Multink bundle are working.Now we are changing the router having 2 smart serial and 2 DB 60 ports and configuring as multilink bundle but it is not working.

Can't we bundle as multilink if there is different serials

Yes. Beside that there are E1 interfaces available that would allow you to eliminate the bulky serial cable and extrnal converters, plus check the real performance of the circuits.

Yea, its better to go forward with VWIC MFTs than the old Serial interfaces, ofcourse that means a little upgradation from the existing infa.

Also now there are hwic-ce1/t1-pri that are specific for data connections and are a bit cheaper than the vwic.
