Hello,

I have configured SNMP v3 on my 890 router.

snmp-server group SNMP-GRP v3 priv
snmp-server user Admin SNMP-GRP v3 auth sha XYZ priv aes 128 XYZ1234 access 10
snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart

As soon as I activate snmp-server enable I end up with lots of other TRAPS. Is this normal ?

But it's really too long ! If you have to do this on each equipment, it takes hours to configure and check the unwanted traps...

Is there another method ? I'll have to enable this on a lot of switches and routers.

If your wish is only to get ride of these which you don't need then simply copy them all(not required) in some other place i.e. notepad/excel and put no at the start then just do copy and paste on all switches to decrease the headache.

Please rate helpful, thanks.

That's right

Can you tell me what is the minimum to keep for supervision ?

Yes Bro you can use Excel it will help you a lot to place no at the start in each line by using feature "Replace all" from the Excel.

Please rate helpful, thanks.

Other than other suggestions - use notepad ++ ?  or some small script
