Hi,

I am configuring  2811  routers for two site  Site Aand site B. Site A router  has  two branches,  with subnet 172.168.7.1/24 and 172.168. 22.1/24

site B router has  Server network ie 172.168.11.1/24  connected to it. I have 2  lease line ie 256kbps and  2mbps  between the outers

  Requirement:

Branch A to Server should use 256 Mbps link

Brank B to Server should use  2Mbps link

Please see the attached  document for the diagram.

256kbps and 2mbps links are up.

This is what i have configured in the routers

Router A:

Fa 0/0: 172.168.7.1/24

Fa 0/1: 172.168.22.1/24

S0/2: 192.168.99.1

S0/3: 192.168.98.1

IP route   172.168.11.0 0.0.0.0   192.168.98.2

IP route 172.168.11.0. 0.0.0.0   192.168.99.2

----------------------------------------------------

Router B

Fa 0/0: 172.168.11.1/24

S0/2: 192.168.99.2

S0/3: 192.168.98.2

IP route  172.168.7.0 0.0.0.0   192.168.99.1

IP route 172.168.22.0. 0.0.0.0   192.168.98.1

When I do a trace route to  172.168.11.1 (site A)   from  Router (site A) it  takes  192.168. 99.1 or 192.168.98.1 route.

From site B  it chooses the specific route as mentioned in ip route, so there's no problem.

How do i make   source network 172.168.7.1/24 to take the 256kbps route and source network 172.168.22.1/24 take the 2mbps link  when connecting to the 172.168.11.1/24 server network at site B ?

Thanks in advance .

Did you consider policy based routing?
