Static NAT troubleshooting issues

I am setting up NAT for a new solution. Basically when attempting to connect to an internal host via telnet using NAT IP, it does not connect. I have verified real IP connection using telnet but when using virtual host IP I cannot connect. I have included the config for assistance. I've also noticed that if I tried to traceroute to the virtual host IP it continuously loops between the router that has a static route pointing to the virtual host and the core router.

one thing I've noticed from troubleshooting the NAT configuration is that I can ping the inside global IP address but canot telnet to it.

This tells me that the inside local IP isn't translating to the inside global when responding to the request and does a reset...confirmed when I did a debug on the router.

So what am i doing wrong as I have the other interface configured as the ip nat inside?
